Have you ever found yourself just staring up at the stars and in awe of God’s creation? Anyone who knows me knows that I am a Christian and I’ve never hidden that. I’ve had some people tell me that I should not speak about Jesus on any of my professional websites but, I wouldn’t be true to myself if I didn’t follow my heart. Tonight I just wanted to write because I feel like sometimes the focus gets put on the wrong thing.
My writing is not about me. It’s all about giving back and using the talents that God gave me because without Him I would be nothing. I am not a writer without Him. I am not a mother without His blessing. I’m not a photographer without Him. The list can go on and on of course. Quite honestly, I knew God early on but like many I wandered away. Finally, He got through to me again and you see He didn’t go anywhere, it was me who left. One of my favorite verses is Romans 8:28. It’s my go to when I’m feeling the most let down or discouraged.
